Use of Benzyl Alcohol : Main application of Benzyl Alcohol includes Photographical developing, slide developing. BenzylAlcohol is bacteriostaticand is used as an antimicrobial preservative against bacteria, molds, fungi yeast although it possessesonly modest bactericidal properties. Benzyl Alcohol ester is used in soap making & Plasticizer industries. Benzyl Alcohol is an excellent solvent for cellulose esters & ethers, natural resins, waxes & gums. Benzyl Alcohol prevents bloom formation during the drying certain nitrocellulose lacquers. Benzyl Alcohol is also used as a preservative in Injections. Benzyl Alcohol FFC Grade is also used in Construction Chemicals.
